Since receiving a band in late winter 2007/early 2008 and planting it in Aug/Sept. 2008, it's taken off and produced some of the most decadently fragrant blooms I've ever experienced; others have agreed, at least that it's intensely fragrant. Most canes are large, upright and thorny. The bloom production this spring and summer has been very impressive and has been increasing as the months go by. Blooms haven't shown spotting from morning dew as other light colored roses have in this rose bed area, and they seem to have a long life on the bush, even in the hottest afternoon heat of summer. The fragrance can't be described.
