Grown in Southern Mississippi almost 20 years ago, my mom and I had this rose in our garden. It is the only rose I've found little to no information on through the years. The plant was purchased at a local fruit stand. Recalling it's habits, it had a decent fragrance, but was a very fussy plant. It was not very vigorous and bloomed sparingly. It had disease resistance issues and sparse foliage. It finally succumbed to its plethora of issues after a few years, was pruned by shovel, and turned into mulch. Oddly enough, I'd love to find another plant to see if it's as fussy as I remember.
