Deep pink to red, ages to violet-red .  Moderate fragrance.  Double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.  Wrinkled (rugose) foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 47" (120cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Prune after flowering is finished.
