Introduced in Australia by Exotic Nursery (Australia) in 1851 as 'Marquise d'Ailsa'.

Bloom:

Carmine-pink, crimson shading. Moderate fragrance. Average diameter 2". Medium, double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
