Robert Arthur Sanson de Sansal (December 24, 1820 Paris - June 19, 1874 Dammarie les Lys or Féricy), amateur rose breeder, brother of Colonel de Sansal (see). Arthur de Sansal married on March 30, 1848 Caroline-Francine Desprez (November 7, 1819 Maisons-Alfort - November 22, 1917 Paris), the daughter of breeder Jean Desprez.
