Origin:
Bred by Pastoret (France, before 1856).
Introduced in Luxembourg by Soupert & Notting in 1856 as 'La Noblesse'.
Class:
Centifolia, Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Light pink, carmine-pink center.  Strong fragrance.  Large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Upright.  

Height: up to 5' (up to 150cm).  Width: up to 4' (up to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Hardy.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
'La Noblesse' was issued as a Hybrid Perpetual, although all later references state it is a centifolia.
