Bloom:
White, green undertones. Strong, damask, lemon, tangerine, wild rose fragrance. Average diameter 3.25". Medium-large, double (17-25 petals), very double, flat to cupped, old-fashioned, quartered bloom form. Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom, occasional repeat later in the season.
Habit:
Height: 39" to 6'7" (100 to 200cm). Width: 39" to 6'7" (100 to 200cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 2b through 8b. Very hardy. very vigorous. can be grown as a shrub. heat tolerant. shade tolerant. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Do not dead head. Do not prune. Do not spray. Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy.
Breeder's notes:
Stanwell Perpetual not often produces seeds. Here it was naturally pollinated by a natural dwarf form of R. pimpinellifolia collected in Péninsule de Quiberon, Bretagne, France and planted close to it.
