Bloom:
White, light pink edges, yellow undertones. Strong fragrance. 140 to 160 petals. Average diameter 3". Large, very full (41+ petals), in small clusters, cupped-to-flat, old-fashioned bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Large, rounded buds.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, compact, spreading. Large, glossy, medium green, dense foliage. 3 to 7 leaflets.
Height: 36" to 4' (90 to 120cm). Width: 24" to 28" (60 to 70cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 9b. Can be used for cut flower, garden or landscape. Hardy. produces decorative hips. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot . Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
