This is a wonderful, iron clad hardy, shrub rose for a northern garden. The flowers are single and pink with a whiter centre and bloom in large trusses. Rebloom is very good with zero disease problems. Growth is tall and then arching over if left un-pruned. This rose can be grown as a free standing shrub, or expalliered on a fence and grown as a climber to 7 or 8 feet in zone 4. Latterals Break freely from espallered canes and grow very long and then bloom. A superb hardy shrub or climbing rose for the colder parts of the Northern US and Southern Canada. If this were an Explorer series variety, it would be very well know. It blooms as well as, or better than the Explorer "John Davis" making it one of the best reblooming shrub/climbers for zones colder than zone 5. I'm not sure if this rose is in commerce, but it should be, especially in the Northern US, Canada and the Scandinavian countries of Europe.
