Swane's Premier Rose of the Year for 1994, is a very special rose called Legend. (Jactop) The variety was bred by Jackson and Perkins in America. It is an extremely, striking, red rose, its blooms are carried on long, strong stems, making it an ideal rose for cutting. The lovely red colour stays rich and bright from bud to finish. The bush has an outstanding growth habit, foliage is dense and stems have few thorns. Blooms are lightly fragranced. P.V.R. Pending 93/258.
