'Lisa Maree' rose Reviews & Comments

I bought this Lisa Maree as a budded maiden from Wisconsin Roses and have been very happy with the vigorous and healthy growth of the bush itself. It even looks good without flowers, though it never is without flower during growing season. The flowers are a very nice even pink color and have good form with drilled centers. The blooms just need fragrance and more size to make them perfect. It was very winter hardy it's first winter with no protection in my zone 5b/6a garden. It has continued to be an excellent garden rose in its' second and third years. It grows and blooms vigorously the entire growing season. The only thing I would fault is that it's blooms are a bit small, but judicious pruning could probably be done to make the blooms larger if you want to exhibit this rose. It's health, vigor, and flower power make this a good rose to recommend for the garden. John

I planted this as a budded maiden this year and have been very happy with it in my zone 5b garden. The bush has been vigorous to 5' tall and has been very healthy with no disease to speak of. The blooms are plenty and very prettily formed, scentless, but a bit small. I am hoping the bloom size improves in it's second year.
