This beautiful rose is named after a well known Gippsland (Victoria, Australia) botanist and author, who lived at Tyers near Traralgon.

Cupped blooms of approximately 40-45 petals are a very attractive deep buff-apricot colour which pale to a soft shade of buff on ageing. The blooms have a rich fragrance and continue to appear on the bush throughout summer and autumn.
The bush has a strong arching growth habit with dark green, leathery foliage which has good disease resistance.
