'Abigail Adams' rose Reviews & Comments

Abigail is a BIG plant. I put her in a few years ago as a very small (9" tall?) plant. When she emerged from the snow in the spring, she started shouldering her way out of the ground with amazing vigor. Unfortunately, we planted her in front of the bed. We now have to figure out how to move her to the back so we can see the other roses!

Goodness - we had "short". I've deleted that and just left the height. Perhaps take a cutting? Might be easier.

We have done so, but I hate to purposely let my original die!

Another nice rose in USDA Zone 5. Grows steadily and repeats well. Nice eye-catcher if planted alone and a wonderful foil for other pinks. Slight, somewhat spicy fragrance. Just a very reliable, decent rose.
