'We Salute You ™' rose Reviews & Comments

This rose does not have blooms smaller than either parent. I own all 3.
"Red to deep pink, darker edges, darker reverse, yellow undertones."
It's straight up coral colored, sometimes with an apricot or russet "afterglow". There is no red or yellow. Although the reverse is indeed a few shades darker.

WSY will show some russet tones in certain weather, which I find interesting.

Hello Michael Garhart, do you know how I can buy a "We Salute You" rose? I have been searching for a long time to find this rose. I will appreciate any help you can give me with this request. Thanks, Joy C

Can any members comment on how We Salute You compares and contrasts with and to Spellbound? My garden is in southern California in zone 9A. Thank you.

WSY has more autumn tones than Spellbound. They're similar in most other aspects, but WSY typically has more of a classic bloom form.

Just wanted everyone to know this rose was named for the people in the Pentagon who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. "Remember Me" Rose Gardens will be building 3 rose gardens near where the planes crashed that day and each garden will have one rose bush for each victim that day....nearly 3000 roses in each garden. They have been introducing roses every year named for different victim groups. Other roses include Soaring Spirits (Twin Tower victims), Forty Heroes (Flight 93), Firefighter(NYC Firemen), and The Finest (NYC Police). visit their site at Remember-me-rose.org
