My plant is an own-root rose in its second year, and is the tallest rose in my garden. Today I saw two new buds, each on stems close to 7 feet tall. Blooms are long-lasting on the plant, even in extreme heat. Update: These full blooms do ball somewhat in the rain. but fortunately it doesn't rain much here!
