'Attleborough' rose Description

Class:
Climber, Large-Flowered Climber.
Bloom:
Red. Moderate, musk fragrance. Average diameter 4". Medium, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Tall, bushy, climbing, upright. Medium, glossy, medium green foliage.
Height: 9'10" to 13'1" (300 to 400cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for cut flower, garden or pillar. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

"It is good to be able to name a rose for our own town where we have recently planted a public rose garden. This is a healthy and robust climbing rose with flowers of clear bright red with occassional white tints. It repeats flowers well into the autumn. £1 from the proceeds of the sale of each rose will be donated to the Rotary Club of Attleborough for the next three years for distribution to local charities. Scent is like 'Musk' (public opinion)"
