i purchased SWEET PROMISE three years ago, it is a wonderful rose, fragrant and for me a quick bloomer, it is disease resistant, (but i do spray my roses weekly). the bloom size for my SP has been approx 5inches, i have two of these bushes and their bloom is nearly as large as my Mr. Lincoln and Lover's Lane. This one is a must for the rose lover, it fills my house with a great fragrance an is a great cut flower.

My Sweet promise is own-root. The leaves are red when young, and dark glossy green when matured. This plant is worth growing for being low-thorn, and the amazing apple blossom scent. The color is very refreshing in real-life, it lights up my garden. The repeat is faster than an Austin, the stem is long and makes excellent cut flower. I have my gallon-size plant for less than 2 months, and it gave 6 blooms and 10 buds. The leaves are healthy and shiny, no insects nor diseases problem. Now my 4 months old plant gives 19 buds/blooms - and the scent is pure heaven: like apple blossoms.
