Just ordered it from Vintage Gardens for 2013 delivery.
I received this 4-30-2014, it is about 12 in tall, with matte medium green leaves, and tiny, sharp, red-brown prickles on the lower stem. It looks nice and healthy.

Please add photos of your rarities when they flower - and leaves, prickles, buds even before that!

Margaret, yes, absolutely; while there are a few photos of the four recent purchases in online searches, there are no clear ones of this variety.
