...Par ses descendants elle [Caroline] produisit trois variétés distinctes: Souvenir de David d'Angers, éditée en 1856 par Robert, Comtesse de Labarthe, par Bernède, en 1857, Madame Damaizin, par Damaizin en 1858.....Madame Damaizin se caractèrise par un feuillage plus ample, les fleurs plus grandes, plus étoffées, très odorantes, ce qui n'est pas le cas pour les deux autres; le calice plus allongé se renflant en cône élargi au sommet à la maturité; son coloris est saumon rose avec les mèmes caractères que nous retrouvons dans Jeanne Abel....

From a talk held by Pierre Guillot at the Rosarian's Congress in Nantes - translated in "The Old Rose Advisor, Vol. I, p. 102ff] ...Through her descendants she [Caroline] produced three distinct varieties: Souvenir de David d'Angers, published in 1856 by Robert, Comtesse de Labarthe, by Bernède, in 1857, Madame Damaizin, by Damaizin in 1858..... Madame Damaizin is characterized by a fuller foliage, larger flowers, more substantial, very fragrant, which is not the case for the other two; the more elongated calyx swells into a widened cone at the top at maturity; its color is pink salmon with the same characters that we find in Jeanne Abel....
