Esther O'Farim. (com. syn 'Matador') a Floribunda, was  hybridised by R. Kordes and introduced by Jackson & Perkins Co.  Parentage is 'Konigen der Rosen' x 'Zorina'.   The medium, ovoid buds open to high-centered, light scarlet or orange on top with reverse light yellow, double blooms borne in clusters on medium strong stems. There is an abundant amount of dark green, leathery, large foliage and the plant is disease resistant. The growth is very vigorous with profuse blooming.

E. F. Allen. Awards To New Rose Seedlings In Great Britain In 1970.
Esther Farim (Parentage not revealed). A Hybrid Tea-type Floribunda, by Kordes, with a pleasing dwarf habit and intense vermilion flowers which become blended with orange and yellow. Under better conditions of growth I suspect that this seedling will prove to be an outstanding cultivar. Certainly I was very impressed with it in July. Its name is already in use in Germany but appears not yet to have been registered in the U.K. Trial Ground Certificate.
