Rosa dimorpha Stev. es Bess. (1814) ... Shrub rose dimorphic with arcuately curved branches, 1.5-2.5 m in height; spines are very frequent, small, 5-6 mm in length, of the same type, hook-shaped, curved. Leaves 5-8 cm in length; stipules well developed, pubescent only from below and along the edge, devoid of glands; 5-7 leaflets, from narrow elliptic to elliptical, pubescent on both sides, simple toothed. Flowers 1-3; pedicels equal in length to fruits or longer than them, ferruginous and bristly; sepals after flowering down bent, often lingering on ripe fruit, glandular from below; head stigma loose, pubescent. Hypanthias are oval, densely ferruginous and bristly; nutlets fruit.  
Distribution: southern regions of Eastern Europe.
