Bred by Roberts Abolins (Latvia, circa 1965).

Bloom:

Deep pink, purple shading, ages to lighter . Strong fragrance. 19 to 27 petals. Average diameter 4". Large, very double, in small clusters bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.

Habit:

Armed with thorns / prickles, dense, spreading, upright. Semi-glossy, dark green foliage.

Height: 4'11" to 6'7" (150 to 200cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 5b through 9b. Very hardy. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.
