Introduced in Australia by Henry Sewell, Payneham Nurseries in 1906 as 'Antonin Réschal'.

Bloom:
Carmine-red, cherry-red highlights.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Long buds.
