'JACout' rose Reviews & Comments

No doubt this a beautiful rose when it comes to spectacular color splash on the landscape. It has a nice scent too. Maybe it's hard to find because it is (was) quite susceptable to blackspot ?. At least my plant was, and reviews on this rose seem to bear me out. I threw mine away years ago but maybe I'll try to grow it again because it's such an interesting rose . J&P used to sell it ....maybe they can point you as to where to get it. Try the "BUY" tab on this HMF page too.

As a rosarian in the Gilbert, AZ area, zone 9a-9b, I am pleased to report that Neon Lights is VDR and heat tolerant. I bought a bare root plant of Neon Lights, the first rose in my current garden of 85 roses One year, because I had such beautiful blooms of Neon Lights, I tried my hand at propagating it. My attempt was successful and I ended up with 5 very healthy plants, one of which I gave to a rosarian friend. I told him I thought he should enter Neon Lights in a rose exhibition because it was a prize winner. He did and it won! Made me proud! I have had Neon Lights for 14 years and it is still producing many beautiful electrifying neon light blooms. I think every garden should have a Neon Lights rose. It's fabulous!!

I would love to find a source for the Floribunda "Neon Lights". I don't know why this rose disappeared. It was very aptly named. If any one knows please respond. Thanks, Lucibes
