I'm pleased to report that the specimens sent to Quarry Hill, (now Sonoma Botanical Garden), are still viable and one is being nursed and brought along by Don Gers.

This wonderful species is not done in N. America yet!

A plant of extensive growth, common in the Upper Provinces, but not met with, that I am aware of, near Calcutta: bears large handsome double-blush flowers.
