A real survivor. The definition of low maintenance.

I grew this one when it was new. I did not like it. I liked the color, the foliage, and the habit. What I disliked a lot was the way it bloomed. It did not begin until July, and then it would burst into bloom and trickle in the autumn. So, essentially, it was the last rose to bloom for the 3 years I owned it. It was otherwise and extremely healthy plant. I could easily see it on rock walls.

This wonderful little rose is an excellent substitute for Ballerina -- with all of the color and charm on a smaller, more manageable plant.
It makes a superb companion plant when placed in a mixed planting of perennials and low-growing flowering shrubs.
