In a Konemann encyclopedia this cross is listed as:
R. Nitida 'Corylus'
It's little bigger than R. Nitida and the colors in the fall are nicer.
Just wanted you to know.

The question that comes to mind is whether this particular plant is the named cultivar or a sister seedling.

I quote the konemannbook:

"...... 'Corylus' ( R. nitida x R. rugosa ) is an usable descendant with almost identical performance as his parent (R. nitida), but will be a bit larger and with a bit more intence fall-color "

If i look at the web some listed it as R. Nitida Corylus and some as 'Corylus'

It's you call. :-)
