Phalaenopsis is as darling as it is hardy against cold and heat. Blooms in delicate clusters.

Parentage unknown; Found in Texas -Phalaenopsis is the "study name" given because it's said to resemble the Phalaenopsis orchid.

The only drawback I've found is that it has a tendency towards Powdery Mildew. Every spring Phalaenopsis is the 1st rose in my garden to be affected by it and the last to get over it.
