'Kiss Kordana ®' rose Description

Miniature. Exhibition name: Kiss Kordana ®
Bloom:
Dark red. Mild fragrance. 30 to 32 petals. Average diameter 2.25". Medium, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat, open, reflexed bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long, pointed, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Short, bushy, compact, upright. Medium, semi-glossy, dark green foliage. 5 leaflets.
Height: 1' to 14" (30 to 35cm). Width: up to 8" (up to 20cm).
Growing:
Can be used for container rose.

The variety 'KORhedani' originated from a controlled cross made in Klein Offenseth-Sparrieshoop, Germany in 2002. United States - Patent No: PP 19,598 on 30 Dec 2008 VIEW USPTO PATENTApplication No: 11/787,185 on 13 Apr 2007 The patent application notes the hybridizer of this miniature rose is Tim-Hermann Kordes.
The new variety of miniature rose plant of the present invention originated from a controlled crossing in a breeding program between an `un-named seedling`, and `KORpolare`, U.S. Plant patent application Ser. No. 11/704,616.
