Origin:
Bred by H.F. (Bert) Harp (Canada, 1956).
Class:
Shrub.  
Bloom:
Pink, golden-yellow stamens.  Mild fragrance.  25 to 35 petals.  Average diameter 2.5".  Medium, very double, nodding or "weak neck" bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Arching, lax, upright.  Glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: up to 8' (up to 245cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 3b and warmer.  Can be used for garden.  Very hardy.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot .

Notes:
The Swedish Rose Society recommends Prairie Dawn for northern Sweden.
