EXCELLENT.
Class:
Group 2, Late, Small-flowered.
Bloom:
White, violet center. Mild fragrance. 6 petals. Average diameter 4". Single, overlapping bloom form. Early summer to early autumn.
Habit:
Height: 4' to 8' (120 to 245cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b through 9b. Plant in sun or partial shade. Shape or tidy up the plant AFTER flowering is finished. This plant blooms twice. It blooms on the previous year's growth, so resist the urge to prune it in early spring. However, if you garden in a place with cold winters, Mother Nature will more than likely prune the plant for you. It will bloom a second time on new growth.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Possibly mentioned as 'Si fan leen' in 1817.- See References. See Reference of 1841 for possible parentage.
