Origin:
Bred by Mauget (France, 1834).
Introduced in Australia by Exotic Nursery (Australia) in 1851 as 'Bourbon Queen'.
Class:
Bourbon.  
Bloom:
Pink and buff, darker shading.  Flowers fawn and rose.  Strong, sweet fragrance.  up to 35 petals.  Large, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters, cupped bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:

Height: 6' to 13'1" (185 to 400cm).  Width: 4' to 6' (120 to 185cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 10b.  Can be used for cut flower, garden, hedge, pillar or shrub.  Produces decorative hips.  shade tolerant.  This rose blooms on old wood.
