The Canadian rose annual 2000 says this is the offspring of (Basildon Bond x Rosemary Harkness). The full description reads: RECONCILIATION, HT (Harkness '95) (Basildon Bond x Rosemary Harkness). AB, apricot, very fragrant.	REPLY

I wonder if this is the female parent of Easy Does It. The timeline would fit, and sometimes this rose gets colors/petals similar to EDI.	REPLY

I just bought a baby own root Reconciliation at a club meeting, and it is finally started blooming this fall! The blooms are quite lovely with a matching sweet peach like scent. I'm really looking forward to seeing this little guy mature!	REPLY

I was delighted with this rose when I visited Heirloom Gardens' nursery in the summer of 2012, and saw this plant on their site. At the time--early August in Oregon--it was blooming profusely, with huge, full blooms, which reminded me of other English roses. Well, this is an English Legend. The color was a soft apricot center with lovely pink edges, and blended together beautifully. So of course I ordered my own!

Presently my little Reconciliation is still a baby, since it has only been in the ground since early September. I will update this post as my plant comes into its own, and also add pictures as I can. The bush I saw at Heirloom was not 3-4 feet--closer to 2 1/2 to 3 feet, and it had spread at least three feet in diameter. The blooms were easily six inches across. It is a gorgeous rose, though a lot lower growing than the description says--at least that one was. This is a beautiful plant for the front of a border.
