Health: 7.5 (very good) Fragrance: 4.2 (some). A very good garden rose with very good health. The plants have an abundance of flowers and it repeats well however blooms can fade as they age.

Waikato: Fades to white as soon as open, prone to downy mildew, now gone from garden. Bay of Plenty: Lots of flowers all season, good rose for floral work, flowers always stay fresh. Manawatu: Compact growing plant, small blooms of yellow gold with nice fragrance. South Canterbury: Always has blooms, not a lot of petals though.

'Golden Gift' (SOMoldglo). This is a rose with miniature genes in its parentage, the resulting plant is nice and compact with perfectly shaped Hybrid Tea blooms and a wonderful musk fragrance. The golden yellow flowers age to pleasing pale caramel tones. They are produced one to a stem and in small clusters. 'Golden Gift' will be available in Garden Centres in 2011. This rose will be marketed as 'Ophir Gold' in Australia. Awarded Certificate of Merit, Palmerston North International Trial Ground, New Zealand (2007). Hybrid Tea. Golden Yellow. Flower Size 80mm. Petal Count 35. Height 90mm - 1m. Habit Small compact. Fragrance 4. Disease Resistance Good. Parentage 'Little Nugget' x 'Matawhero Magic'. Year of Release 2011. Introducer Glenavon Roses Ltd.
