Bred by Gijsbert De Ruiter (Netherlands, before 1984).
Introduced in United States by Bear Creek Gardens, Inc. in 1987 as 'Red Minimo'.
Introduced in Netherlands by De Ruiter's Nieuwe Rozen B.V. in 1991 as 'Red Minimo'.
Introduced in United States by Greenheart Farms in 2010 as 'Crimson Treasure'.

Bloom:

Dark red. None / no fragrance. 15 to 25 petals. Average diameter 1". Small, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, flat bloom form. Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season. Small, pointed, ovoid buds.

Habit:

Short, upright. Small, medium green, leathery foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets.

Height: 8" to 14" (20 to 35cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 5b through 10b. Shade tolerant. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
