Origin:
Bred by Claude Ducher (1820-1874) (France, 1869).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1882 as 'Rêve d'Or'.
Class:
Noisette, Tea Noisette.   (Series: Earth Kind ™)  
Bloom:
Deep yellow, copper shading, lighter edges.  Moderate, tea fragrance.  Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Climbing.  

Height: 10' to 18' (305 to 550cm).  Width: 6' to 8' (185 to 245cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.  prefers warmer sites.  Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy.

Notes:
Vintage Gardens classifies this rose as a tea-noisette
'Condesa de Foz' introduced by Costa in 1885 is said to be a renamed Rêve d'Or.
