Book (2005) Page(s) 188. 'Rose-Marie Viaud', (descends from a seedling of 'Veilchenblau'). Breeder: Igoult, 1924. Height: 4 to 5 m. Non-recurrent. Double, moderate fragrance, tolerates half-shade, hardy, medium humid soil, tolerates poor soils. Lile 'Veilchenblau' from which it descends, the branches of this rose are thornless. It grows vigorously and is clad in an ample matte, light green foliage which is almost blonde when young. The flowers, united in small clusters, are very double, violet-purple, quite dull when faded. The blooming is mostly late. One can cultivate this rose in shade or in a mediocre soil.
