One of Rayford Reddell's choices for its cut-flowers... a gorgeous bloom that lasts well as a cut flower... true apricot... It seems obvious that hybridizer Dennison Morey had a climber in mind when he chose parents for 'Royal Sunset'; also that he hoped for yellow or some shade thereof, since he selected the yellow-blended, climbing 'Sutter's Gold' to father his child and the clear, bright yellow, climbing 'Sungold' as its mother. He not only got a plant that outclimbs either parent, he was rewarded with a color second to none...
