Does anyone still grow this rose, or has it gone extinct?

Did you check the Gardens and Buy From tabs?

Yes, both. Those are gardens that had the rose in the past, but not now, including mine. And the buy from nurseries are themselves extinct, except for one that has now discontinued roses altogether and sells peonies. I am hoping that someone will see this comment and let us know if there is still a plant in existence somewhere.

Miniatures leave me cold. Never liked them, still do not, but am out of room and now looking at my old rose annuals 1960-80 and realized for whatever reason, little Sheri Anne here is an amazingly "important" parent of many miniatures. So I ordered 3 from Heirloom and will see what happens when she is crossed with some recent introductions................I do love some orange-red....................maybe I can learn to love miniatures.................

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! That old song that has some verse "and a taste of honey is worse than none at all" is how I feel about miniatures! SO many actually DO have shockingly good form, amazing colors, some have these traits that never have appeared in the "big ones" and maybe never will.............I just like my roses----as you know---big, loud, lusty................dislike miniatures, loathe singles (Dainty Bess is, in my opinion, proof that the old fable "The Emperor Has No Clothes' is totally TRUE, lol).............and I clearly remember 1978-90 when anything miniature just got released. The craze, the craze. And some good ones did get lost in the tsunami................78-90 seems to almost relate to miniatures as maybe the 30's did to those "post" pernitiana colors?????? Trying to open my heart and mind, lol. Sheri Anne is SPOT ON for what I look for in a BIG one...............

'Sunrosa Orange Delight. is a super easy keeper and do'er, if you're looking for an orange mini that requires low mileage effort. 'Sunrosa Red' as well.
Urban Legend and Honey Bun are also easy mini do-ers, but they're super prickly and tend to ramble a bit so not quite the same.
