Sir Frederick Ashton Large-flowered/Hybrid Tea. Beales (UK) 1985. Sport of 'Anna Pavlova'... almost pure white but for a hint of lemon at the base of each petal... It was discovered by Peter Beales in his garden in Norfolk. He named it to celebrate the 80th birthday of Sir Frederick Ashton, Director of the Royal National Ballet at Covent Garden, London.
