Parentage:
If you know the parentage of this rose, or other details, please contact us.
Notes:
Sombreuil sold in the US is not the same as Mlle. de Sombreuil.

The ARS determined in 2006 that the name Colonial White which was introduced by Wyant in 1959 should no longer be used. Roses obtained under that name shall be shown as Sombreuil. See REFERENCES for change of classification and breeding date as of November, 2006.
The stated parentage 'New Dawn' x 'Mme Hardy' is questionable as 'Mme Hardy' is sterile.

Possible Wichurana in its background.

See Vintage Gardens Book of the Rose for the true Mademoiselle de Sombreuil, a Tea.
