Feuilles composées de 3 à 7 folioles ovales-aiguës, ondulées, pourprées dans le jeune âge. Ovaire globuleux, lisse. Bouton ovale-aigu, rougeâtre entre les sépales. Fleur de 2 po. de diam. [5.4 cm], très pleine, d'un rouge vif éclatant, quelques étamines au centre. Première flor. 1830. Très belle variété, parfaitement remontante.
