Origin:

Discovered by Heinrich Carl Haussknecht (Germany, 1863).

Class:

Hybrid Moschata.

Bloom:

Pink, purple shading. Small, very double bloom form.

Notes:

This rose is often quoted as proof of the Persian origin of 'Rose de Resht', however it was definitely a hybrid moschata, and not the Portland re-introduced by Nancy Lindsay.
