I think that it was before the listed discovery date that our family was looking at roses in the back lot at Fountain Square. An enormous and gorgeous yellow climber was spread across one wall. We asked if it was possible to get a plant, and the gardener/arborist let us know that the rose was a sport discovered on the lot and that a few plants were available. It was a huge performer with almost no work at our home in Elk Grove. Later, when we moved, we picked up another one and it was another incredible performer. We have since moved again, so we were planning a return to Fountain Square. It's great to see that the rose is now available for a much wider audience!! What a great find!
