Philip Sutherland. Australian Raised Roses. Thankfully, George Dawson’s son Allan is taking an active interest in the preservation of his father’s roses. One of the gems to be reborn is ‘Mellow’ a very double apricot and yellow, which becomes somewhat pinker with age. It is unclear whether or not it was released or was to be released during his father’s lifetime, however it will be available commercially for all to enjoy within two or three years.
