'29-04-02' rose Description

Bloom:
It shifts between peach with a deep yellow center, to apricot with darker orange shading, depending on weather conditions.. Strong, myrrh, old rose, sweet fragrance. 45 to 65 petals. Average diameter 4". Medium-large, very full (41+ petals), in small clusters, cupped, old-fashioned bloom form. Moderate, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Medium, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Short, arching. Medium, semi-glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.
Height: 3' to 5' (90 to 150cm). Width: 4' to 6' (120 to 185cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5a and warmer. Can be used for specimen. Hardy. Disease susceptibility: blackspot resistant, very mildew resistant, very rust resistant. Remove unproductive wood every third year or so.
Breeder's notes:
This seedling has beautiful blooms, wonderful complex fragrance but has not shown to be particularly worthwhile as a garden shrub after several seasons evaluation, unfortunately.
