    A new reference (Catalogo SBI Fedi 1942) gives an earlier date of introduction : 1940

    Thank you, breeding year modified. The references cannot agree on the respective seed and pollen parent.

    Up to now the references are two (R. hybernica X R. Moyesii) to one (R. Moyesii x R. hibernica) .... cheers!

    So we should go for R. hibernica x R. moyesii? Hibernica seems to be a good seed parent and Moyesii a good pollen parent
