"Trinity" is one of the loveliest of the Mystery Roses. A bush of this rose was first found growing just inside the wall at Holy Trinity Church in Bailey's Bay. Fortunately, members of the Society took slips so that "Trinity" still blooms there on a child's grave. The long pointed buds are pale pink opening into pure white loose 4in. (10cm) flowers. A constant bloomer.

You might spend an afternoon, as I have, roaming the rambling garden of Marijke and George Peterich, pondering the latest identifications proposed for "Trinity".....Much has been written about the Bermuda Mystery Roses, which have traveled widely around the world. Many, like "Trinity," and.... have become favorites of mine, and are in commerce today.

"Trinity". T. Rapid rebloom. Outstanding fragrance. Habit [diagram] 2. Bermuda, found. [Provenance: Manners; Bermuda]. In Everblooming Roses, Georgia Torrey Drennan lists among her white Tea roses one she calls Rosa Alba, and remarks "The first white Tea rose. Semi-Double". this raises a flag for us in trying to identify this simple, semi-double Tea found in Bermuda. We find no other reference to a Tea rose by this name. Lovely, clean white blossoms on a bushy and productive plan that is one of our favorite Tea roses, simple as it is.

Marijke Peterich. The Preservation of Old Garden Roses in Bermuda.
"[Bermuda] Trinity". Found at Holy Trinity Church in Bailey's Bay. Fortunately members of the rose society took slips, as the original bush died later. A vigorous grower, reaching a height of six ft. (1.8 m). This rose has dark green foliage. The pointed buds are pale pink, opening into pure white, loose, four inch (10 cm) blooms. A constant bloomer. Happily a large bush of "Trinity" is growing there again.

"Trinity". Pure white, semi-double rose, buds touched with pink. Dark green shiny foliage. Bush grows to about 5ft (1.5m). This mystery rose was found in the graveyard of Holy Trinity Church. Continuous. Suitable for Pots. Prefers sun. Availability limited. 5' x 4'. 1.5 x 1.2m. .

The pointed buds are pale pink, opening into pure white loose blooms with fuzzy yellow stamens, about 4" across. Constant bloomer.
