Introduced in France by Victor Verdier et fils in before 1842 as 'Madame Henriette'.
Class:
Centifolia, Hybrid Gallica.  
Bloom:
Pink, lilac shading, blush edges.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), expanded bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Well-branched.
