Bloom:
Carmine-pink, butter-yellow reverse. Strong, anise, clove, pepper fragrance. 50 to 55 petals. Average diameter 4.75". Very large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long buds.
Habit:
Bushy. Large, glossy, medium green, dense foliage. 3 to 7 leaflets.
Height: up to 32" (up to 80cm).

The female parent (i.e., the seed parent) was the product of the cross of the ‘Meipierar’ variety (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 7,622) and ‘Meivildo’ variety (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 6,895). The male parent (i.e., the pollen parent) was the product of the cross of the ‘Meicapula’ variety (non-patented in the United States) and the ‘Meinuzeten’ variety (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 4,224)...The rose plants of the new variety were approximately 1-½ years of age and were observed during June while budded on Rosa laxa understock and growing outdoors at Le Cannet des Maures, Var, France.
